Mission and Vision

MISSION

 

To ensure the training of qualified, honest and ethical individuals who contribute to the development of the system with national and international education, who internalize the legal culture and awareness of justice, who are closely interested in the problems of our country and the world, who can interpret and evaluate national and global developments.

 

Our other goal is to educate law practitioners who have the competence to learn and reason the principles of law from a universal perspective, to communicate in a healthy way, to look at problems not only as a lawyer but also as a conscientious individual and to produce solutions.

 

As an education and science center that provides qualified education, we have set the goal of educating scientists, lecturers and administrators who are capable of using knowledge and technology in different legal institutions of the country and the world, who have a critical perspective and professional ethics, who have the qualifications to perform their profession on national and international platforms, who can think interdisciplinary, research, approach scientifically and follow innovations at a level that will determine the law that should be by closely following the needs of the society.

 

The main task of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Law is to contribute to the training of good people based on honesty, sincerity, freedom of opinion, transparency, merit, pluralism and justice in all their work.

 

 

VISION

 

To be a faculty that will bring law graduates and academicians who have the ability to examine the events and problems in our country and the world from legal, philosophical and sociological perspectives to the society and the world of science.

 

To be a nationally and internationally respected law faculty where the science of law is not only taught, but also produced and applied, with a perspective that takes universal legal principles as a criterion in undergraduate and graduate law education. In this framework, in the short term, to be a scientific home that brings together academic staff, students, the bar association and the courthouse by implementing legal clinics and succeeds in transferring the science of law from theory to practice.
